...and so there was peace everywhere in the land for the first time in many years... Well, until everyone forgets again, says the cynic in me.
The final book of this excellent series, & we do get to a peaceful conclusion, but it's a pretty wild ride before that happens. A couple of niggles but it does tie up a lot of loose ends pretty well. Although Isabeau has won her Sorcerer's Ring she is woefully short on magic, I really would have liked her to flex her power muscles a bit more in this denoue ...more
