This one dragged a little for me, but I think this was mainly because I just wanted to know what Isabeau was up to: she's starting to grow up & becoming a very interesting character. Meghan has a fascinating role: what would one sacrifice to protect the people, country, world that one loves? This is certainly better than the tired trope we see in so many books & movies these days: the world can go to hell as long as I get my child back, I don't care how many thousands have to suffer for my selfi ...more
