Set over the course of one day, a Sunday, in the rural Victorian town of Molliston, this felt like the day was never-ending. I listened to it as an audiobook, and in retrospect, I suspect it wasn’t the best book to listen to this way - at least not for me. There were too many names that were similar and families I couldn’t keep straight who was in which and what was what so I kept getting mixed up.
