It took me a little while (maybe 100 pp) to get into, but once there I didn't want to put it down. An excellent yarn - adventure, swords, sorcery & stars. Prophecy walks while disparate peoples fight to save their land from the Destroyer, who brings endless winter in his train. I absolutely adore this book and those that follow in the series. I read this for a book study in grade 12 and am soooo grateful it was in our list of choises. I would recomend this to anyone even if you don't like fantasy. You will ove it! People in my class who didn't like fantasy read it and even loved it!
