An enjoyable second book in the Tales of the Otori series. A bit slower than the first one, which allowed for more character development. Looking forward to the next book.
This series just keeps on getting better. I started it yesterday morning and finished it before bed. I am now thinking of calling to work sick tomorrow to finish the third installment (but you all know I won't...).

This is quite a good book, second in the Otori series in which Takeo realizes that he must learn to synthesize the different aspects of his inner self.
The descriptions of the settings are hauntingly beautiful in a mystical way. I am looking forward to reading the third volume of this series.
