This book was so readable and so well written. Granted, I felt pretty angry much of the way through - I still find it almost impossible that people can believe 'revelations' conveniently had by men to justify some particular desire of their own, and which almost always are made against women. A fantastic book - thought-provoking and filled with information, but not at all laborious to read. Brooks makes a sometimes sensitive topic very readable. I would recommend this to anyone who has ever wondered about women and Islam.
