Она считалась самой слабой среди всех (победила «Жизнь Пи»). Это роман про Австралию, любовь и искупление. This is the first book of Tim Winton's I have read and I've been meaning to for a lone time. His descriptions of the Australian Western Coast is perfect and you can smell the scenery and feel the dirt. Unfortunately the characters in Dirt Music weren't very likeable and never seemed to actually decide to do anything. This wasn't an easy read. It took me a while to understand the characters, and while I was happy to keep reading it's not something I could highly recommend. ...more

Quite well written. Can be confronting in parts. Founds it drawn out in parts. Disappointing ending.
