What Members Thought
I found 'A Fortunate Life' interesting in respect to life in the early 1900's. The style in which it has been written has to be commended considering Facey was an uneducated lad from an impoverished background. He definitely had a hard life and at times I felt like I was sitting in front of the open fire at my grandparents place listening to my grandfather telling stories about his younger days.
