Eleven-year-old Jackson Curtis loved his parents, Julia and Alan, and sisters, nine-year-old Ruby and fourteen-year-old Milla. But Jackson was different – neurodiverse was as much as the doctors could say – with a phenomenal memory, a stress level higher than most and a penchant for finding himself in trouble, even though it was always an accident. I can't rave enough about this book.
Read it almost in one sitting, couldn't put it down.
A beautifully told story about a family dealing with 'an unusual boy'.
Jackson is an 11 year old who's neurodiverse. He's adorable and steals the show.
But when he's embroiled in an unfortunate situation in the toilets at school with a younger student, my heart broke.
To see the story unfold is just wonderful.
Absolutely loved it. ...more
