Despite the three stars, I actually really enjoyed this book. It was intriguing and made want to keep reading. It made me think about how we never really know what strangers are going through and the importance of transforming our lives.
The three stars is due more to my own expectations. I had thought this would be more a murder mystery (like Big Little Lies) and I think that would have given the book a little more edge. I also wish Frances' POV hadn't dominated so much. I would have liked to ha ...more

I asked to review this book as I thought that the premise sounded interesting. What could potentially happen to 9 strangers on a spa holiday. It turns out that this was a spa holiday with a difference. I did wonder how it would work flitting back between all the different characters as you follow what happens on the spa holiday.
Overall I enjoyed this book.
