Oh wow I thoroughly enjoyed this book....to the point of waking at 3am and reading for 40 minutes! Thanks Fiona absolutely loved it!
This novel is only slightly darker than the author's other historical fiction novels, but not by much. Fiona always manages to capture the heart of her characters and this is true for Severine in The Pearl Thief. I was captivated from the Prologue until the Epilogue. Fantastic novel.
