I liked it enough to give it 4 stars. I did like the writing and love the NZ world as I don't read many set there BUT I do feel the plot was quite as tight as it should be. There was a small part of the book which related to the MC's past in the UK which trouble appeared to have followed him to the present time & setting. However, this strand of the story kinda fizzled out rather quickly and to me, unexpectedly so. It was strange and out of the blue and a mess. I think it should've been edited o
