I’ve had this book sitting in my TBR pile for years and I’ve finally got to read it. This is a great book. It tells of a couple of archaeologists who seem to have it all, successful careers albeit the husband outshining his wife. Marcos obsession in finding the long lost necklace leads to a tale of obsession which leads to a trail of lies, lust, family breakdown and kidnapping.
