In Margareta Osborn’s 5th full length novel we head to the beautiful Gippsland area in eastern Victoria where Julia Gunn is on her way to a new life. Having been widowed young, only in her thirties, she’s resigned from her job and has decided to move to Lakes Entrance and buy a cafe/tearoom. Margareta Osborn writes very good contemporary & rural fiction for women. Her latest book Lake Hill tells the story of a young widow - Julia - who wants to open a small coffee shop in a seaside town after the death of her husband. Unfortunately she breaks down en-route to her destination and ends up at Lake Grace. Seeing it is going to take some time to get her car repairs done she is forced to stay here for the time being.
