Easy for some, maybe, but not so easy for others. Pulling the pin, opting out, offing oneself with Nembutal is dicey enough that you might want someone there to make sure you wake up dead. That’s all very well for you, but, who would you lumber with that?

This was an interesting and absorbing story, treating the issue of legalised euthanasia with sensitivity, the story showing all sides of the issue. The characters were particularly well portrayed, and I especially enjoyed the protagonist's feisty mother. A moving ending, demonstrating that sometimes what we think we want is not, when it comes to the crunch, what we decide.
