A light, entertaining read. The premise is interesting & the apartment sounds wonderful. I think you'd outraged if you'd just spent hours on paperwork to inherit a French flat only to have a stranger walk up & say it was really his; at the very least, you wouldn't hand him your name to bandy about. There are few teething errors in this debut novel that needed a competent editor but I enjoyed it on the whole. 2.5★ rounded up.
