I have enjoyed Toni Jordan's previous books (in particular Addition and Nine Days) but this didn't appeal to me at all. It was written very much in the style of a bedroom farce that I could see as a stage play - it was like a revolving door with characters turning up at inopportune moments then leaving, others being found in compromising positions in bedrooms, conversations at cross purposes and with hidden meanings only known to the audience (reader).
