Liane Moriarty did it again. This was another hard-hitting domestic drama with a body count.

I am a big fan of Liane Moriarty’s books, and was eager to read her latest exploration of the dark side of suburbia. She always has razor-sharp insights into contemporary life, cleverly wrought and suspenseful plots, and enough warmth to balance out the dark undertones. Truly Madly Guilty has a BBQ at its heart, with three couples torn apart by what happened that sunny afternoon. Worst book I've ever read...........I skipped the last 200 pages and still understood what had happened the entire book! Awful............If I could give it no stars I would!

3 stars is possibly being generous.
I must confess I don't get the big love that this book has received. Can't believe it was voted as the best book of 2016. Took way too long for the big event to happen and then dragged out after that to an insipid ending. I do think the premise was interesting but the execution didn't work for me
