Four years later Cassie was happily working the farm and Danny had started at the local school. But when Cassie’s mother Beth decided the feud must end – it was just a piece of land after all – she thought incorporating a welcome home party for Jake Thornton and inviting both families would be all it took. The secrets of the past were much, much deeper than Beth or anyone else realized though, and when Cassie saw Jake she knew she hadn’t forgotten him; she hadn’t forgiven him either…

Suddenly there seemed to be danger all around Cassie – but she refused to sell; the threat was that she would suffer until she sold the farm or her family would pay the consequences. Cassie was scared; worried about Danny, plus her mother and brother – but she was determined not to give in. What gave anyone the right to drive her from her home; the home that was legally hers. She wondered if her grandfather had been hiding something all along. Would she find the answers? And would she ever be able to forget Jake and their past?

I really enjoyed Outback Fever, Aussie author Suzanne Brandyn’s latest romantic suspense novel. The plot was filled with suspense and heart stopping twists; the descriptions of the countryside authentic. The tension near the end was page turning and gripping; definitely couldn’t put it down! I have no hesitation in recommending Outback Fever highly.
