Okay so I did not enjoy the first book but since I had already purchased the trilogy I figured I might as well bare through the rest of them. After finishing off the second one I realize that I dont completely hate this series. I actually like Christian's story. His whole affair with his mother's friend, his childhood, and his family are all very interesting. I wish there was more insite to that portion of the story.

What I dont like and what completely annoys the heck out of me is terrible writ Okay so I did not enjoy the first book but since I had already purchased the trilogy I figured I might as well bare through the rest of them. What I dont like and what completely annoys the heck out of me is terrible writting/grammer and ANA STEEL! She annoys me so much. At least in this one she finally starts asking the right questions. But of course she always asks him while looking down at her hands so that when she finally looks up at him she's all smitten with him and doesnt care that he completely avoided answering her question. They fight and fight and then have sex without really resolving anything. It seemed that the same thing was repeating for several chapters. Ana would Christian something about his past, he gets upset about it, she tries pushing the issue, but instead of actually talking it out they end up having sex.

I swear I have ever been so vocal in yelling out profanity at a book before! I think my biggest problem with this book is the timeline of everything. So they'd been apart for a week? and they're acting like they havent seen each other in years. I get it they're super in love with each other. It just didnt sit right with me. I feel it would have been better if before instantly going back to Christian, Ana actually went out with a "normal" guy and then was able to decide which lifestyle she wanted. Instead of only knowing one kind of relationship. Then theres the whole "Christian is missing" scene. He's only been gone 8 hours and theres already a tv news report about it?

Anyway....I could go on and on about this books many faults. I still dont understand why this book is so beloved or why would anyone would want a relationship like this, hot rich guy or not. Well heres to hoping I can get through the third book with a sane mind.
