Even though this wasn't my favorite Sarah Dessen book (This Lullaby and Just Listen are my all time favorites) I still liked it. However, I think the main reason I liked it was because the main character reminded me of Nate Archibald from Gossip Girl, which is not a good reason to like a book. It's about a girl who lives with her mother who doesn't work and smokes and drinks most of the time.
