Okay here’s the deal ... I think I disliked this book because Myra is selfish. All of her decisions she’s making may endanger her and/or Pearl and she doesn’t care. And then she just uses Daniel and everyone else for her own gain never caring about the consequences.
The storyline was okay. I enjoyed the premise but it all seemed odd to me. Plus the whole thing turns into a modern day pirate book ... which is fine but I felt like I needed Johnny Depp.
