Normally I decide within a page or two if I'm going to read a book. If I decide to read it, I normally will, but have stopped reading some books at thirty or forty pages. I'm getting older and life is short. I actually read about 90 pages of this because the writing style was pretty good, and it seemed that the real story about Hemingway, Paris, and the Lost Generation would start soon.
