Wow. I totally didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It was a nice, light romance with very little angst or unnecessary drama.
I loved the way the the romance developed between McKinley and Evan. They started out with a friendship and they grew closer as Kinley helped him prepare for the arrival of his daughter. It was a very slow build and that was extremely nice.
Evan wasn't a jerk, he was a good guy, trying to do what was right and he fell for the girl in the process.
