Wow, that was a wasted hour of my life. There was absolutely nothing redeemable with this book. The plot and characters were horrendous. It read more like teen-wannabes than alpha male soldiers. And the plot was ridiculous beyond belief. So nothing worthwhile there.
In some cases a great narration can save a bad book, but in this case the narration made it even worse. He sounded bored to the max and had the worst voices for the different characters.

I had a bit of trouble following the perspectives switching between characters, but after a bit I was able to keep up.
I really enjoyed Grant and all the characters, Billy and Tucker especially melted my heart for them.
I think I will continue with this series.

I liked the idea behind this series, secret assassins who by day are cowboys. It was a nice easy read with a couple of stories going on throughout the book. On reading the Synopsis I thought the story's main characters would be Tucker and Billy, but their story was only a part of this book, the rest features Grant and Roger and developing the other characters.
