OMG. I really loved this book. It started out with a bang and had what I would call "warm and fuzzy" in the middle with the end once again having a bang.

I love reading a mystery where I don't have a clue who the bad guy is.

At age 11, Naomi witnesses a horrific crime perpetrated by her father. This sets the course moving forward in life. She tries to outrun the stigma attached to being Namoi Boes. Having been taken in by her uncles, her last name, along with that of her brother, gets changed to C ...more

Nora's still got it. Very good romance and mixed with the suspense. I think the first third of the book was interesting, as it was basically a prologue, but it worked. I really liked Xander, classic Nora alpha-beta hero, and Naomi was great. And Tag was great too. ...more

Friends have been bugging me to try audiobooks again so i purchased the audio to this. I loved this book, the audio was really good, but the story was a diamond! The story grabs you from page one, with 12 year old Naomi discovering that her strict religious father is a serial killer. She helps his last victim escape and changes her life forever. Her brother mason becomes a psychologist to stop other monsters and she becomes a freelance travel photographer.
