There seemed to be a more clear preference in this book which was a relief but I was disappointed to see so little of Death yet again. The books are starting to drag a bit. I'm definitely less of a fan then I was in the past. Still worth a read for fans. ...more

I’m...underwhelmed. This book was not worth waiting years for.
And can I just say, I’m just *way* over the love triangle with Death and Falin. It just needs to end. Preferably with Falin back in Faerie for good.
Also I’m not a fan of big loose ends and this series seems to have a liking for them, to the point of them being plot holes.

All in all, not impressed.
