What Members Thought
I would've liked it if it had a real ending or an epilogue because it is painfully obvious that there might be a 3rd book coming. Something intense would have to happen in order for me to read it and I can't spoil what I would hope that is. And like the 1st book, you just can't talk much about the storyline without ruining it for others. I'll leave saying that I thought this was just okay, nothing monumental for me, but then again the 1st book wasn't monumental for me either.

2.5 stars. Let me start by saying that Me Before You is one of the best stories I have ever read and recommend it to everyone. I love Jojos writing and ability to craft beautiful and meaningful words that leave you wanting more. So I am sadly disappointed in After You. I just expected more. Lou was actually annoying and I felt nothing like she was portrayed in the first book. Her relationship with Sam was very forgettable and I don't think the old Lou would have been so easily persuaded to engag

As much as I enjoyed the first book, I struggled with the second...until about almost to the end. I actually gave it a 3 1/2
Wasn't quite what I expected. It was nice to read the aftermath of what happened. Overall, a good read. I am definitely glad that I read it & enjoyed it.
