Oh, God. How does Leylah Attar do this? She has created this amazing piece and I am at a loss for words over it. She knows just how to play the reader, give them a rush of excitement, surprise them with humor, and make them feel passionate yearning. Her words are heated and powerful.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I absolutely loved the characters and the storyline may have been a little predictable at times but had so many twist and turns thrown in that kept it interesting.

it was ok
My main issue is with how the story is told where you feel like you jump around from different points of view but sometimes you aren't even sure whose POV. You also have the ramifications of the early years but you only experience those as memories being retold. So much plot. All the loose ends are tied up. I just didn't feel as emotionally connected as I should have.
