As awesome as ever ;) ♥ This is the 1st fiction book I've RE-read, aside from those kids books my parents read to me when I was 1 & I still read now, only now its to my siblings.

Edit (after reading):
Read it in just over 12 hours. Turns out not all Vampires are as bad as I thought :)
And I was happy with the romance (As you might already know, I don't always like paranormal romance).
I'm looking forward to reading #2.

Its been nine years since I read this book. It was the book that unfolded the reading pleasures for me. It was the book that paved the way to my obsession for reading. Which consequently lead to me reading many books like the book thief which consequently allowed me to discover the world of writing. This book also put me in a road where I ended up joining the Faculty of Arts and having the best 4 years of my life at college. This book is why I bonded with so many people that I now call besties. Its been nine years since I read this book. It was the book that unfolded the reading pleasures for me. It was the book that paved the way to my obsession for reading. Which consequently lead to me reading many books like the book thief which consequently allowed me to discover the world of writing. This book also put me in a road where I ended up joining the Faculty of Arts and having the best 4 years of my life at college. This book is why I bonded with so many people that I now call besties. It was the beginning for me. I can even exaggerate and say that to an extent this book or Rose specifically shaped my personality somehow when I was younger and consequently my character developed from that starting point over there.
Let me just say that Rose and I are similar in so many things. Her wild, rebellious, never-settling attitude is definitely something I picked up from her 9 years ago when I was too fresh to even formulate my own personality. And guess what? It stuck to me. I still am a bit wild, rebellious, and definitely-leaning-towards-freedom. I owed the book a reread ages ago. But now is the perfect timing since many of my besties are currently reading this series. Now I have lots of people to obsess over Dimitri with.
I cant deny that at some points Roza got on my nerves. I mean the bullying, the gossiping, the brattiness, the rumors, and the stupid interference in Lissa’s life definitely suck. However, she grows I know that for sure, and it makes sense that a 17 yr old does all these things. You can also say that she’s just defensive when it comes to Lissa but again its not an excuse.
I give this book 4/5 stars because I forgot how much the ending in Mead’s books always got to me.
I love how Rose is a burning, shining fiery ball of passion, determination, and ambition. Its just the perfect read for who I need to be these days. It feels like a reminder of how I should face my stupid obstacles nowadays.
Thank you Rose for being my role model even if we’re a tad different now. I still yearn to be as fiery as you are (except that I kinda am in my own Rose Hathawy/Sydney Sage kind of way) ...more

So i'm rereading this whole series again. So i could make a book review of it. Lol. Besides.. i love this series. I love the characters and storyline. Rose is just so awesome. Lissa sounds charming and a great bestfriend. Dimitri sounds so badass. Mason seems so sweet. Christian Ozera is definitely my crush here. I love his personality! ♡ He's snarky sarcasm and dark humor is just asdfghjkl ♡ lol

This was a fantastically EPIC book!! My cousin recommended it for me and when i started reading it my friend told me she had read it and that they are awesome. This then made me even love it more because we had something to talk about. The hidden relationship is amazing and lets you live in a life that you cant normally lead. I would recommend this book and would have to say it was one of the best books i had read for ages!!
