Don't throw tomatoes at me, but I didn't love this one as much as I love the rest of this series. Dalton - total sweetheart, bad boy that you just adore like all of James' leading men, but I wasn't a fan of Rory. I didn't particularly like her as a character in Gavin's book when he ended up with Rory's mom, and she didn't redeem herself for me in this book. LJ has done it again! My second favorite in this fantastic series.
This book is very unique in that the hero is an amazing mix of tough-guy and warm-tenderness. I loved that he came onto the scene with his feelings right out there for his woman. No playing games, no brushing off his not-so-good behaviour in the past and showing his struggle to control his own life like most people, men and women do.
