as an owner of three cats, my ears always prick up when I hear a story about a cat. I was vaguely aware of this one, but with the release of the film wanted to read the book first. It may of still taken me a while to pick this up after the release but I got there eventually. On the whole I enjoyed the book, it's certainly opened up my eyes to a lifestyle I knew very little about. What a beautiful and inspiring story. This book reminds you why our pets are more than just bundles of fur we feed and pet, they are part of the family and can often provide a much needed friend when we need them most. xx
