OMG. I wish I could rate this book 6 stars. It definitely deserves it.
This series is one of my all-time favorites, and this book is the best of the series so far.
It seems like this series is getting better as I keep reading XD
What I loved the most about this book is THE WRITING. Cassandra Clare is an AMAZING author... She writes fantastic. I got into the book from the very first sentence, and that's something that rarely happens to me.

I really enjoyed this book and I got through it quickly. I love learning about a character's history and background, and I was happy to find that there was plenty of backstory and ' filling in' in this book. I will admit that this book made me cry at one point, which I consider a highlight of the reading experience! A very enjoyable read. Cassandra Clare has successfully managed to capture my imagination with the wonderful world of the Shadowhunters.

I enjoyed this so much! I thought the plot and the actual ending was good and the Shadowhunter world seems so real. Although I guessed a few of the twists, I still really really liked this and felt sad when it ended. However, there are still 3 more books in this series so yay!
