Probably the darkest of the series, but also the most action packed and my favorite. Still predictable: the ending I had guessed from the end of the first book, but there were a couple of twists I didn't expect, which was a nice surprise. I know Clare has continued the series onwards from Simon's POV, but I will finish my reading with this third book. I liked it, but not enough to follow an endless series. ...more

I enjoyed this so much! I thought the plot and the actual ending was good and the Shadowhunter world seems so real. Although I guessed a few of the twists, I still really really liked this and felt sad when it ended. However, there are still 3 more books in this series so yay!
