This was a slog! The first part I quite enjoyed with a young Arthur and Merlyn as his teacher. I particularly liked when his lessons were to be turned into an animal nd learn their ways. But from part 2 onwards it was hard work. The animal cruelty was particularly hard to read in the second part, which I think probably didn’t help. I managed to get through, but I think I may have skim read quite a bit.
