I read this a few years ago and loved it. This Christmas one of my gifts was go go and see the theatre production so I felt a re-read was in order. I'm glad I did as there was a lot I had forgotten and I loved it just as much the second time round.

An interesting iteration of a mystery novel, where our protagonist has to deal with emotions - and himself cannot understand them. The unique perspective makes for interesting reading, as well as opening up in the reader a better understanding of children who are "special needs", as our protagonist is.

I loved the voice of the protagonist- funny, unique and sweet. Very original.
