I think I enjoyed this one more than the first one. Very well-written; lots of threads but it was easy to follow. And, of course, I love Lisbeth Salander; I'm glad that I got to know a little more about her in this book. A bit of a cliff-hanger ending, but I'm not sure that I am ready to jump into the third book since they are pretty dark.

I read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo on holiday earlier this year and I think it was a case of too much hype making my expectations too high, however although it was not the blow me away read I was expecting I did enjoy it.
This one started off slow for me, there were too many references about what had happened in the previous book, which I guess is helpful if you happened to pick this book up first, but a bit tedious otherwise. Lisbeth seems to be far more prominent in this book which is no ba ...more

I don't love Laarsen's writing style, but he was an exciting storyteller. Definitely a page turner, especially since the first book,Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, got me invested in the characters.
