I have heard so many conflicting things about this book, but honestly I think I chose the wrong time/year to read it! It is not a lighthearted, quick read. It is quick, yes; however, it's so dark and I constantly had to stop and take in what was happening and I think my mood and attitude was influential of the likability for me of this book. That being said, the writing is most definitely beautiful, for which I probably will go back at a happier more carefree time in my life and re-read this wit ...more
