Oh BOY!
What the hell was that!!!
An action packed, simulation within simulation, gameception?!
A superb book; it kept me gripped throughout the entire read, never letting it get boring...!!!
It has everything I desire the most, a protagonist who uses brains more than brawn, a large evil force threatening the freedom of humanity and a race against time! (MMORPG setting an added bonus)
DAMN!
Creative, colourful, crazy!

"Willy Wonka meets the Matrix" says USA Today on the cover of my book so I kind of knew where it would be headed.

The only reason why this isn't a five star book for me is because of certain opinions we don't share.

I had started this book last year but for decided to put it on hold, along with other books, for no real reason. I started this again from the beginning June 20.

Enjoyed all the references to 80's pop culture. I was not really into the video games, anime and Dungeons and Dragons that were all referenced so much but my son was and he was born the same year as JD Halliday so I kind of lived it all through him. Fun read. ...more

This is worth more than a 5. This book is worth 5 million 5's!!

I do believe you have to be a movie, book or game nut to love this book. Luckily, I'm all 3. And especially an '80's nut!!

I wanted to live in this book. Be in this book!! Any book that features The Goonies, the best movie ever made, I was going to fall in love with.

I started and finished the book wearing my Space Invaders shirt...completely fitting for this book!!

Five 5-pointed stars and this book deserves every one of those 25 points. Super entertaining story that made me want to binge watch 80's movies and tv shows! And makes me want to try some of those text based interactive games in this age of the Xbox and ps4! Very absorbing, couldn't stop reading it! Highly recommended!
