The Kite Runner was a assigned book for my english and at first I wasn't sure how good this book would be. I am so glad I didn't tune out my teacher's monotoned voice as he read aloud this amazing story. The author took me to Afghanistan with his vivid details and made me fall hopelessly in love with all the characters (especially Hassan).
