Wow! This book is so realistic and, for me, a real tear-jerking read. I teach high school and I have always told my students that if a book can draw you in, make you live vicariously through a character, and somehow help you with life experiences, then it's a good book. This book did that for me and so much more.

Absolutely positively LOVED this book! I read a variety of books and while I really like or love some books, I try to save the 5 star rating for ones that truly touch me. This book did just that. I didn't "read" this book but rather listened to the audiobook. I was attached to the story from the start and many times found myself not wanting to turn my car off until I had gone just a little bit further in the story. Made me feel so sad but so appreciative of myself, my mind, my family. I feel very grateful for my life, and not many books are capable of making me feel that way.

Beautiful and powerful, like the film I think it will stay with me for a really long time. And I now understand better what the 'still' in Still Alice signifies.
