I loved the POV and the omniscient character that carried me through the story.

I fell in love. In love with Liesel. With Hans. With Max. With words. And more surprisingly, I fell in love with Death. I fell in love with this book, and I knew I would after reading the first ten pages. I watched the movie YEARS ago without knowing it was actually a book. I hate reading books after I saw the movie, I don't ever want to be spoiled of a book- so I never bothered picking it up. Until now. Since I could barely remember much details of the movie after all these years, I told myself
