What Members Thought

Funny, quirky, intelligent.
I always have a soft spot for historical fiction, and this book done it cleverly.
Also had a laugh when Indonesia is mentioned.. A country where everything is ON SALE? You got me there. I guess it’s perfect description for the corrupt regime of Soeharto. But hey, I believe we’re doing better now. More and more academics & smart people are elected (though alongside some sinetron stars). Generally, people are going on the right direction.

This book wasn't nearly as wonderful as the critics said but it was an okay read. It had it's funny parts but not really enough to keep me interested.
