2.5 ⭐️ I feel like this book would have been better served as a graphic novel. I read a lot of dark and violent books, so that wasn't the issue, but in my opinion the violence became a little redundant in this book. The word choices in certain places also came across as forced and awkward (e.g. Using the word "betwixt" or describing something as "cut in twain"). The narrative language in most of the novel is pretty colloquial and gritty, so I felt these antiquated flourishes were so misplaced th
