I finally read this, for the first time in my life. The story made me feel sad and happy at the same time, and sometimes I truly felt like I know exactly what Holden is talking about. It's a pity I didn't read this when I was young because I would have wanted to know my young self's thoughts about it. My guess is I wouldn't have understood him at all.
I loved the language, like "shooting the bull" and "chewing the fat", and Holden calling everyone old including his 10-year-old sister. :D

Should not have first read this as an adult; disliked the foul mouthed protagonist immensely.
Quasiment honte de dire que j'ai trouvé ça juste OK. J'aurais titré ça "chroniques d'un loser".
