This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Gosh... Where to start... First, I must say that I am a big fan of this series. The first two books were masterpieces, if you ask me. As for the third, well... all I have to say is WTF.

I was expecting an epic novel to end this series, but I was VERY disappointed. I thought the beginning was ok, the last part of the book was terribly awful. I think the author rushed through it. Everything was thrown at us, like if she had a deadline, a limit of pages she had to write. Everything felt just so wron Gosh... Where to start... Everything was thrown at us, like if she had a deadline, a limit of pages she had to write. Everything felt just so wrong as soon as the bomb exploded. I think that Katniss blaming Gale for this was BEYOND ridiculous. I thought that Snow's death was just thrown at us. Poof. He's dead. Just like magic. We have no clue of how the whole fight between the Capitol and the rebels went down. The ENTIRE book, I was waiting for some MAJOR actions. But no. A bomb exploded, Prim dies, Katniss pass out and wakes up to find out that the war is over. The rebels have won. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! The author rushed Katniss back into her district to end the god damn book as soon as she could. WTF happens to Gale. He gets a job and never see Katniss again???? Why did she chose Peeta? Because it was the one who came back to her??? I mean, COME ON. And I still don't see what was the point in killing Finnick, really. Did the author felt like she had to kill major characters to prove a point?! I personally don't think she got anything out of it. There was never any emotions involved. The author was in a hurry to bring us to the next chapter... And that was a major failure.

And what happened to the girl on fire?! Can't believe she was turned into a puppet. She didn't want to be a piece of their Games, but she sure was a piece in Coin's game. She let them do whatever they wanted with her, she had no backbone whatsoever. I didn't like her attitude... I wanted to see a leader. She was suppose to be the Mockingjay, and to me, she completely failed.

Is it because there was actually no Hunger Games that I feel like this was such a disappointment?! No. Do I think the author was handicapped by the fact that there were no Hunger Games. HELL YEAH.

Dear Mrs Collins, you have worked SO hard on your first two books, how could you end things like that?! And what about your shitty epilogue?! 15 years later, they have kids but will always be sad, for the rest of their lives. I get that this is dystopia, and what they have been through is freaking traumatic, but where is the HOPE. The only things I can applaud you for is to have the courage to kill Prim, and the nice twist at the end to have Katniss shoot Coin instead of Snow. THAT'S IT. I am really really really disappointed at how things ended, and I can only hope that the producer of the movie don't stay too close to your ending.

I really disliked this book. I did not want to read the series but then decided to try it despite the subject matter. And I was surprised by how much I really liked HG and CF. I tore through them. But Mockingjay was a huge letdown for me. Parts of it felt rushed. I found myself having to go back and read parts because they hadn't been written clearly.
