Ahhh!! I love Meg Cabot books!!

I've been a fan of hers since a day about 10 years ago, and my husband and I at the time went on a secondhand bookstore adventure, and spent the day training and busing our way around Brisbane, hunting down books. This book was a bit silly and fluffy but 9th grade girls - Mia Thermopolis(the protagonist) was in 9th grade - are often silly and fluffy. I didn't care much about the learning to be princess part of the book but the book did a good job of showing the angst and drama of girls that age. ...more
