AMAZING!!! I don't know for the life of my WHY I hadn't read this book until now! I loved just about everything about it: a kickass female heroine, a love interest ignited, a bad guy you love to hate, being unsure of who to trust, action, pacing, gifts, and so much more.

I was completely mesmerized by this book. I have read quite a few reviews about it, and like most others, it took me a little bit of time to get adjusted to the author's writing style. But it didn't took me long to realize that the writing style was what made this book so special for me. I was unique. Different. Mesmerizing. Simply beautiful. The author made a wonderful job at keeping the mystery around. She wouldn't give too much details at first and that seems to keep building up the interest

It took me a while to finish this one I guess it was how it started where your kind of thrown into the story I really got into midway will read book 2.
