So, I have an iffy feeling about this novel and I don't know what's wrong. There's simply something about it that I decidedly do not like. I think it might be because it reads too much like a children's book which would be a stupid thing to criticise it for since that is exactly what it is (?). However, the first time I read this novel, which should have been somewhere around the age of 10, I disliked it too.
