This book, and Sarah Hepola's story, hit very close to home for me. I appreciate and respect and admire her courage to share it with the world. My opinion of this book and how it made me feel can be expressed in Sarah Hepola's own words, "I've come to think of being an alcoholic as one of the best things that ever happened to me. Those low years startled me awake. I stopped despairing for what I didn't get and I began cherishing what I did."
